Carole Juge-Llewellyn's Coaching Story
Carole Juge-Llewellyn is an entrepreneur and novelist. She is the CEO and founder of Joone, a highly successful company, providing parents and babies with healthy and transparent nappies, clothing, and cosmetics.
Wave has helped me, since my very first fundraising round, to better scale both my personal and company's organization. Having a weekly session allowed me to question myself and have a better perspective to keep a clear direction and move forward in the right direction. Over the long run, it has helped me to have a highly successful company.
Can you share key highlights of your coaching experience with Wave (overcame challenges, aha moments...)?
There were many key challenges that Wave helped me overcome, here are two I'd like to specifically feature:
- how to remain patient, faithful and mentally strong while holding lengthy negotiations with investment funds
- how to handle C-level conflicts and keep your team aligned when the company's strategy shifts
My major highlight was learning and then internalizing coaching reflexes thanks to my weekly interactions with Wave. Over time, I have even learnt how to coach myself anytime I needed it without having to take a dedicated time to step back.
What would you say that Wave brought you?
Wave has helped me structure my daily life to find harmony between my personal and professional life while scaling my company. It was especially difficult to do so as my main challenge was to always deliver more in less time.
Who do you think should start being coached by Wave?
Anyone who's struggling with how to better organize their day-to-day activities and gain efficiency.
And also, anyone starting on the growth journey. Because growth is a high-performance sport, a marathon that we are running as if it were a sprint, we need to be mentally and physically ready for it.
