The investor that had everything and wanted more

This story is about Jade Robin, a Venture Capitalist, in need to find clarity about wanting more out of life. Each of Wave’s clients is known as an alias to preserve confidentiality. Each alias is granted randomly and is a coloured animal.

Jade Robin came to Wave with no particular issue to solve. He was good at his job, enjoyed what he was doing, and was okay with his personal life. But he wanted more. Good was not enough for him, and with this idea in mind, we started to work together.

His Horizon was to become sharper and better at setting his goals. He maintained the routine of coaching. The session rhythm with Wave allowed him to learn to take a step back from his day-to-day. By questioning him and making him reflect on how he perceived things, he began to have a more positive and benevolent perspective towards him.

He was very open and shared a lot with Wave. Thanks to Wave’s practical exercises which challenged him, he became aware of the importance of being in the moment and not just achieving to check a to-do, but also to live it. And learn to enjoy even more his life.

He refocused on the most important by pruning the superfluous that was not beneficial to him. This movement allowed him to have more mental and temporal space to allocate to what really mattered, what made the difference in his life. He successfully managed to reframe the balance between over-performing and embracing who he was.
